District Overview
The Cardington-Lincoln Local Schools are committed to leading ALL students to college, career, and civic readiness.
Both its High School and Elementary have recently been named to ODE’s Schools of Promise, and its Elementary has earned the most distinguished honor of being named a National Blue Ribbon School by the US Department of Education.
The Agricultural Education program is continually recognized as one of the best in the state through individual student honors and FFA chapter awards.
Through the "High Schools That Work" initiative, the district’s Career Technical Education Programs have realized growth and success among students.
The district serves approximately 1100 students in its 71 square miles with residents in both Morrow and Marion Counties and accepts Open Enrollment students from more than 10 neighboring districts.
In November of 2017, district voters renewed a five-year 0.75% earned income tax that generates over $900,000 annually. The community’s support will enable the district to have the financial support it needs to continue to offer an excellent program for students.
About our Community
The Cardington-Lincoln Local School District includes the villages of Cardington and Fulton, along with portions of six townships in Morrow and Marion Counties.It offers the beauties of rural living with the convenience of major retail within 20 minutes.
Two major manufacturers, Cardington Yutaka Technologies and Adelet, are located in the village of Cardington.
Both companies have seen strong employment growth within the last two years. Interstate 71 is easily accessible from both the villages of Cardington and Fulton, with Columbus located about 40 minutes to the south.
Four public institutions of higher education are located within a 30 minute drive of the district.
